About Mischa

With a decade of experience leading small and medium sized organizations, Mischa is a small business consultant, professional speaker, thought leader, and entrepreneur. An expert in the areas of small enterprise management, entrepreneurship, and business sustainability, Mischa is also a professor in the School of Business at Algonquin College and a fourth-generation small business owner.

Mischa has been recognized both within Ottawa and nationally for his leadership skills. A 2016 recipient of Ottawa’s “Forty Under 40” award, Mischa was also chosen as one of a small group of entrepreneurs from across Canada to join the prestigious G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance delegation to Berlin in 2017. If there is one underlying philosophy that guides Mischa’s approach to small business management and entrepreneurship, it is that the small business owner of the future will need to be smarter, leaner, and more dynamic than ever before.

"In this age of economic uncertainty, only one thing is clear: to achieve success as an entrepreneur, you need a razor-sharp ability to channel out the noise and focus on what’s important. There’s no doubt that a key ingredient in any successful business is a compelling value proposition, but the same should also be said for the individual small business entrepreneur."
